Laura's Story

Laura Matrisciano is a mother forever shaped by profound loss, transforming her personal tragedy into a mission of hope and support for others. Following the sudden death of her son Vincent and her battle with grief and breast cancer, she discovered the strength to share her journey and guide others through theirs.
A seasoned speaker, Laura offers meaningful insight into grief, resilience, and the healing power of community.
She is the author of The Black Box and Carrying Vincent – A Love that Death Cannot Take, a part of the anthology Deserts to Mountaintops: Out of the Ashes with Jessica Buchanan. Laura is a seasoned board member, an advocate for suicide awareness, a certified grief educator, a triple negative breast cancer survivor, and a small business owner committed to helping others find light in darkness.
